Ride with power and comfort with your choice of two different engines. Depending on the trim level, you can get the 3.6-liter V6 engine or a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine. Both are paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. The adaptive ride control feature absorbs shock and helps deliver a smooth ride. You can use the traction select system to adjust to the many different road conditions. To help control descent through rough terrain, the hill start assist uses anti-lock braking. If you're looking to haul a boat, camper or heavy equipment, the Acadia has a maximum towing capacity of 4,000 pounds.

Safety Features

The Acadia is equipped with a number of standard safety features that will raise your confidence. Some of the driver-assist technologies include automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control and blind-spot monitoring. All these features use cameras and an alert system to notify the driver if there is imminent danger. If the driver can't self-correct the vehicle from just the alert, the Acadia can automatically apply the brakes to mitigate or avoid a collision.
